Over few months I seemed to lock on Noad’s method. I’ve made mp3 files for teachers part of exercises, so they’ve changed from dull to playinng nice While Googling I’ve stumbled upon this forum, and saw that a lot of guitarists use this method too.

And this borders on what I’m interested now in The exercises don’t have tempo markings in them I use metronome setting on bpm, and when I’m satisfied with my performance I move on.

But I seriously doubt that they are all meant to be played at that tempo. So I’d like to ask fellow Noad followers, or even guitar lpaying, which tempos do you use for his exercises.

This info will surely be useful to all of us, and for future readers. Thank you for your time I playong of the opinion that Noad’s books are excellent for instruction.

The exercises don’t have tempo markings in them. No, there are not tempo markings in the book.

And I’m talking about fredegick, not known pieces like Layenda, since pieces are on the audio CD anyway The black ones come with audio CD I’ve visited again noad. So we’re left to play however we like I was just wondering if some teacher or advanced learner could shed some light on which tempos they found ok-ish.

I view the exercises as warm ups to practicing the pieces that are recorded. So it the piece is to be play at 84 beats, then the exercises should be near onad pace as well. You have a CD that comes with the book containing pieces, or separate CD with 42 exercises? This is great advice Board index All times are UTC.
