Also the paper quality is crazy heavy. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. This book is great for the casual learner who is interested in how ecg’s work all the way up to paramedics and nurses.
I hope I can remember what I learned. As some other reviewers have said, the author of this book is rather It’s a great book for medical students who are trying to understand ecg and the interpretation well. Chapters 5 and 6 were pretty difficult to get through, and it could have been helpful to have an explanation on the axis of conduction in the eletrocardiogfafia leads earlier than chapter 7, but overall it was an excellent book.
Great to read during a medicine rotation. I’ve heard some people say this book is dumb, either because they don’t like the author or because they feel insulted that they have to look at pictures and play fill in the blank.
Easy to read, an explanatory graphic on each page with the key details for the image described in three points. This EKG book has enough conceptual scaffolding built in that I’m pretty sure someone with only a basic understanding of the heart could learn how to read an EKG.

But, despite starting it on 4 separate and enthusiasm filled attempts, I have never finished it. I thought it was a lot of fun! I read this book cover to cover and eletrodardiografia officially say it is my favorite EKG resource!
And I could swear I felt my brain open up some new neural pathways. It’s an easy read, and the material is brilliantly explained. Refresh and try again.

He starts at the basic physiology and from there breaks down EKGs. I did however read it, and if you are really interested in learning how to read EKG’s this book is pretty good. Reading EKG strips has confounded me until I picked up this book.
