I never even added it. Questions and open ended scenes from the first book were answered and explored in this book and I could feel all the emotions and trials and struggles of our hero as his story unfolded and was revealed one piece at a time.
And Boyce, what starts out as an antagonistic interaction blossoms into great friendship, he was a truly perceptive and wonderful friend.
As this is a companion novel, will it be better for me to read Easy first? Contours of the Heart 2 Author: And Grandpa, of course was wonderful. I loved every tid-bit of tqmmara information we were given, every scene that told the same story but in a different light and every past experience told through the eyes of a boy with no hope.
I enjoyed reading certain parts of Landon’s past though — like his relationship with his family but everything else in his past was utterly rubbish. I adore this story. I received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. And the future seemed more fragile than ever.
Lucas’s relationship with his father, his close and nurturing relationship with Dr. I listened to this on audio, which definitely had a lot to do with my enjoyment of it. Lucas has been ruined forever for me. All my old nostalgic recollections of the novel that breathed new hope into me for the genre.
The story is set up in alternating sections of Landon and Lucas with the incident being the starting point. Inspired by Your Browsing History.
Breakable by Tammara Webber Review
Jacqueline knew how to pick favorites. If anything, all I wanted to tammsra was the w 2. This was not Easy.
Step two is a monotonous origins story for Lucas that holds as much interest as an inflatable kiddie pool. All my old nostalgic recollections of the novel that breathed new hope into me for the genre.
A companion novel to Easy and a tragic backstory for, Lucas, done masterfully by a talented author. View all 34 comments.
As for Lucas’s character, I did feel for him on the loss of his mother and the past accounts for tammars grappling with that and struggling to make a future for himself. Very little was revealed about his life before he met Jackie but everything is about to come out in the open.
I’m so glad my ignorant doubt was replaced by awesome.
Now almost a year later, I picked it up once again and found myself flipping the pages so fast and this is a pretty big book too dying to get more details a 4 stars! On all accounts, Breakable is a raw and painfully real book that must be read soon by any NA contemporary lover out there. And the fact that there were some slower parts that seemed to drag. What was in his head when he made certain decisions. I know I sound harsh. T Stating the obvious: Then he found her. I also liked the fact that even with this book being a “retelling” of certain events, there was more than enough new material to make it not feel like a rehash of “Easy”.

Breakable (Contours of the Heart, #2) by Tammara Webber
I deeply loved Easy main companion novel as it was an astonishing, eye-opening read about sexual assault that left me breathless and wanting for more twmmara its characters. Looking for More Great Reads? Heck, even Buck was still reduced to the “evil rapist” who just kept popping up for the sake of tension in the novel, and it was worse in this novel than “Easy” because there wasn’t really breakwble immediacy of his threat though notably, this was from Lucas’s perspective.
When I tried reading this book for the first time, I went in with all sorts of expectations and this prejudice, like I need to find things to pick on because in no way can I ever allow it to surpass Easy.
The story is split into before and brreakable parts: Yup, I’m totally drooling on my laptop keyboard over the cover.
If you have questions, I have an FAQ tab there, and a contact form for anything not covered. It ended on a beautiful note but I was saddened that wdbber story was at a close. You can learn a lot of interesting things about an author this way and sometimes the most beautiful and moving weebber an author could say are in those sections. Getting to experience his life, and the life that brought him to Jacqueline, was the best gift the author could have given us.
In fact, Lucas was kind of a stalker, which was fun! May 23, Ferdy rated it it was ok Shelves: And I could love. I still like him, yet he isn’t the same person anymore. And for another, I didn’t like how Lucas said “it could’ve been much worse”, and it wasn’t made better by the fact wsbber he said he’d never tell Jackie that.
