Dec 27, Sandra rated it did not like it. If the unusual secondary characters occasionally seem as gratuitous as pornographic movie extras, Anamika’s ponderings and emotional reversals are lavished with as much attention as a year-old girl would demand. It’s exotic, beautiful and brilliant. IMO ; the writing and the character is so surface-y, that you can easily skip through the Indian references just because they’re so there-just-for-the-heck-of-it. So, to sum it all up, this is not a good book.
